WHAT THIS IS

We are going to need to go home early. We would like to look good doing it.

“Social battery” is a concept built by and for introverts and the neurodivergent community. Whether you have ADHD, autism, or identify as AuDHD, managing your social energy isn’t a flaw—it’s a vital part of navigating a world that isn’t always built for us.

Right now that is Instagram and the shop. The posts and the check-ins cost nothing and stay that way. The shop has the first of the rest: houndstooth for staying in, and postcards for staying in touch without going anywhere.

There is also The Feed, where the longer things go. Still coming: a podcast, forums so this is a conversation and not a broadcast, and more wearables, accessories, journals, planners and stationery. Recharging is not the part of your life you apologise for. It is the part you furnish.

Nobody here is going to explain the joke, reframe any of this as a superpower, or suggest a gratitude practice. Built by someone at 15%, for everyone else at 15%.

WHAT LIVES HERE

Not a brand. A place to put the mask down.

Social Battery is a hub for introverts, autistic adults, ADHDers, AuDHDers, and everyone else running on borrowed energy in a world that was not built with us in mind. You already know what the problem is. Nobody here is going to explain it back to you.

Here is what that looks like in practice:

  • PodcastConversations for the neurospicy. No unsolicited advice. No reframing it as a gift.
  • ForumsA place to talk, not just scroll. A conversation, not a broadcast.
  • Social contentPep talks, think pieces, and the things nobody says out loud.
  • MerchGear for recharging in comfort. Designed to help, not add to the load.
  • Journals and plannersTools for clearing your head and tracking your energy. Not productivity culture. Just help.
  • ResourcesArticles, links, and vetted reading on neurodivergence, energy management, and surviving the things that drain us.
  • RecipesSimple food that does not cost more energy than it gives back.
